There are more important things in life to worry about than the words people use.

I only read the first post in this topic and to the guy who wrote it, you are a one sad little soft ****.

I mean I hear it alllllll the time now and all i think is... why the heck would sombody want or think they're cool because they said a bad word and by the way who states which words are bad for all you know i could say Burchnit and it could be swearing so just think about it its dumb and there is no point!

Swearing is just words, it's sometimes better to let out those words before they turn into actions...

Whats the point in saying anything then?

If i can use a word to get my point across, whether it be the word you would have used or not, how is it any less valid or more offensive?

Why are some words put above or below others? They are just combinations of letters.

Pussies.

to make a valid point you dont need to swear, swearing just maks it look like you are using more words just to make your insult longer and more "powerful"

I have to agree with the majority here that swearing incessantly in public can be a bit annoying. However, I'll be the first one to admit that a properly used swear word can bring power with it. Especially if it comes from somebody that never swears. People stop and say, "wow, he's serious about that!" It can add color to most phrases. But, all in all I'd say that I'm against swearing (especially the "harder" words)

Thanks muchly good sir! It comes from Kingdom of Loathing if you're interested in seeing more hilarity. It kind of reminds me of a joke, (for best results read it out loud) "Two peanuts were walking down the street, one was assaulted".

As for what you and Doc Adrian said about smiley abuse, I whole heartedly agree. One or two per post is fine, but the second I see any more than that (mixed with people saying "plz" and the such) my brain just wants to shut down.
