By the way, are the 150+kb images in the signatures Really necessary? On a slow connection they take ages to load, and don't really serve anything purposeful as far as I can see.

I read people's signature's it makes me remember them(even if they're good or bad)...
Magic's signature is good, but isn't it breaking the rules(as do many others)?
