here comes another piece of photography...
i've taken this picture while i was wandering chinatown in new york city.
suddently i saw those two asian kids playing, and felt somewhat spellbound
of their livelyness.

You better be careful... taking photos of little children is likely to be frowned upon by fat pie eating american cop.

That's really neat. Kinda gross, but neat.

My favorite is the color version. It has more.... feeling? to it.

@Strobe: I love the subject matter. So cute! And it makes me wish I was playing with them. k:

Strobe, I love the photo of the children playing...it's so carefree and innocent...against a background that suggests not great wealth and, yet, the children seem to have it all.

I love the egg picture, SixApes. The warm colours suggest life and richness. The B & W version attracted me, too. There was a decadence about it and also power, freedom yet decay. A picture of strong tonal contrasts and ironic contrasts, too.

I've just got a digital camera, so I've been feverishly taking photos. Here's one I took a few hours ago. It is about twenty paces from where I live on the foreshore.

It's so ethereal, that delicate purple color on the dark green.

Glad you like it, Taikara! I put a sharpen filter to it which might have over-exposed the flowers too much. Ah, well, I'll learn these things gradually. I've got a funny one of the sweet li'l puddy cat who inhabits my lap. She's a sleepy girl but last night managed to stay awake for twelve consecutive minutes. From the photo you can see the effort was way too much.
