It's not a direct quotation, but this is from the Hitchiker's guide:
The Bable fish is such a clear evidenca of god's existance, that it's finally proven, the GOD exists. Now we have proof and we don't need to believe any more. And PUF god disapeared, because no-one 'believed' in him anymore.
