er... how can you actualy prove anything with 100% probability?!
for example you can say:
1)evolution exists beause because we have fossils!
well guess what? our art teacher can make much more buetiful fakes
2) well then fakes exist, beacause I saw them!
no, you just THINK you saw them, you were probably (wit probability 0001%) just hypnotized by aliens into thinking so. (or think about the matrix, if you don't like aliens)
3) well then I exist beacuse I think I do (cogito ergo whatever...)
who does?
3a) well, me <your name here> obviously, who did you think i refered to?
I don't think you, <your name here> exist, you're just part of my sick Imagination! :eeeeeh:

damn, with all of this heated debate I forgot I actualy had an opinion about the flood:

it was mentioned before me that a lot of pople around the world have allmost the same myth:
a higher being tells some person that he has to make a boat, so he does and takes evry anymal by the pair. then he lands in some mountain and survives. the closeness of these myths (noone climbed a mountain, or rode a gigant fish, for example ) leads us (me) to a conclusion- it's actualy a common story shared by many folks. now a big problem we get form here is how can so many people on different continents know the same story? Did this this happen all the way back in africa before mankind populated the rest of the world? Or maybe it's the story of the last Atlantian? pleaese share your thoughts.

P.S. people please read all of the topic before you post. if you have a date on the other side of town in 15 minutes and a dozen pages ahead of you, don't skip ahead and post, it can wait until later!

My thoughts about flood in conclusion:It was,it was probably a global disaster with few survivors on boats or in higher regions.Dont know if this have something to do with Atlantis....
It could be casued by meteor crash or something like it,but this is pure speculation...

Anyway, there is no evidence of a Bottleneck in genetic data in only 6000 years. There, however, IS a bottleneck in the gene pool quite a while back. Scientists speculate this may have been caused by a massive volcanic eruption.
