First you need to grab that chalice that floats in the air some creens below and left, then the "pipsqueak" will get it instead and hide in his tree.

Now I might be mixing stuff up, but... maybe it refers to the blue stone in that magic amulet? Do you have that yet?

I have absolutely no clue. Google for a walkthrough.

To get the blue stone on the Amulet, fill and empty flask from Zanthia's laboratory, with magic water from the Enchanted Fountain. Then click on Brandon so he drinks it and you'll now have the blue stone.

Then go to the screen with the Chalice and use the blue stone and the little Faun named Faun will run away with it. Follow him right one screen, to the tree with the door and use the purple Potion.

Make sure to have an apple in your inventory, so you can give it to him when he asks for something in return. (You only need one apple in the game, so you may discard or eat the second one if you wish.)

Hello

I just found the nice five music files on the site, which I had not
seen before and would like to add them to my copy of The Legend
of Kyrandia I, but am not sure where to put them in the game
files nor how to make them play, can anyone help me with this?

Much appreciated. k:

Hi Again
I appreciate the advice from K about the sound files posted
for Kyrandia I, they are nice, I found some more online,
but still am puzzled by the in game files which my windows
98 cant yet play, they appear to be SND files but when I
right click on them to see the properties, it says they are
AU files. I am going to try VDMSound 1.1.0 because the later
versions of VDMSound dont work with my Windows 98 SE system.
I hope it helps. I saw at the Source Forge VDMSound
help forum that someone else is having trouble playing the
in game dialog files from the actual CD of Kyrandia 2, hand of Fate,
so apparently the sound files in these games are tough, I hope
I can work it out cause these are great games.
thanks :bye:

May I just say that don't the music files for The Legend of Kyrandia, Book One - Fables & Fiends come already with the game when you download it from Abandonia?

Hi
Yes there are sound files, but I am working to play them on my
windows 98 system, have just found VDMSound 1.1.0 which is
the only version I think that will work with Win 98, and hope
that will help play the music and speech files, so far all I have
been able to play are the sound effect files, and I was hoping
to hear the music and speech files as well. I did find various
versions of the sound files on line, but the game files appear to
be SND files, AU format, which my windows 98 wont play.

Hence my research,
thanks for your note
