Bleh. Let's stop this nasty talk about Nazis and get onto something more pleasant: The Schiavo thing. What is everyone's take on this situation?
This issue is tied deeply into something in Christianity, so I feel we can talk about it here. Also, I realize this may be more of an American issue, but hey, we are selfish bastards anyway, right? LOL |

The thing I feel most strongly about the entire Schiavo deal is how the judge got threathened by people that wanted Terry kept alive, kicked out of his church, etc.
He was just doing his job and upholding the law, for him not to do it would be unprofessional, illegal and unethical. Makes no sense to try keep Shiavo alive and then threaten to kill the judge that was just doing his job. Ignorant people...... |

The thing that struck me about this whole case is that the same country and culture that can go out and kill more than 100,000 innocent Iraqis and be completely remorseless is so shocked at the thought of letting a person who is basically already dead (to all intents and purposes) die.

And he was at news....I bet that more than half americans even dont know that they massacred 100,000 Iraqis..... Anyway I dont see intent WHY they should let her die...Why they just dont give hier final rest? That that others dont want to understand she is dead wont change anything on fact that she IS practically dead... |
