HOTU has updated but it's not much. I just got System shock 2 from there yestarday since i haven't played it in a long time....2 weeks is long you know.

Oh yeah, it has a mere 5000 or so game on it. Do you have any idea of how hard it must be to find anything new at all?

+abandonia : evry game i have downloaded frorm here (except for moonstone) has worked perfectly without crashing halfway through

+underdogs : guilty gear x, final liberation, spellcross, sfc3 ect.. the list is 2 huge
(but they aint stable 4xp xcept sfc3 unless that is just me)

abandonia wins on tea and biscuits level i think

i really do prefer abandonia becuse i dont think a game has ever been put up here that doesnt work on xp (albiet with dosbox). but i have total respect for underdogs, some of the bits about the politics of abandonware and independant software on there are awesome, i totally take my hat off to her for that, and the forums there are wild as which can make for interesting lurking, but im not so into posting there cause the flame to decent post quota is kinda in favour of the flame.

Not just you,I have frequent problems with many of their games too.Yea,they do have some good games but many of them are somewhat large and just thinking about downloading 50+ megs at constant speed of 1,5 kb/s + crashes makes me go nuts.

Also their reviews are sometimes very uninformative and because of their 1 at a time rule I cant go random downloading

btw you are probably the first non-slavic person i met that heard of spellcross.
