If you look deeper into it, it actually makes sense.

1) The universe this plays in is humongous, so lag wouldn't surprise me.

2) If a carnivorous Carebear is possible, Garfield should be possible, too

3) I think he is referring to the whole "Planet go boom" thing at the end of the video

It's a bit like, civilization, except you start from bacteria, you can be other creatures, other than humans, teach them technologies, move around with a more land based camera, and work your way up to controlling the universe? :blink: Okay maybe nothing like civilization, but anyway, yeah, looks pretty large-ish, yeah? Well, since nearly everything is created procedual during gameplay, I don't think all the content will be that big.

So, instead of a big HD you'd rather need a lot of RAM and a good CPU.

But if you're going to be downloading stuff everytime you play, from everyone else who plays, that is really going to add up.
