There are many games that are now being developed for both a console and a PC release. With the new generation of consoles being as powerfull as very powerfull PC's this is now possible for the first time in gaming history.
Ports of games both to or from the PC are no longer neccessary. Some examples, TES IV: Oblivion, Alen Wake and Max Payne 3.

Well, if they decide to release this on the nex-gen consoles, there would be some graphical equality.
But what about the gameplay in general? Deus Ex 2 was watered down so much that it was almost sub-par. If they attempt to make a multi-platform game I hope they at least manage a way to keep it nice and deep.
