I'm having problems running Settlers 2 Gold on XP, and the posts on it said to run in Dosbox. WTF is dosbox, and where do i get it?!?

Try clicking the DOSBox link on the game page. The one that says DOSBOX in a little grey box.

DOSBox is the best DOS emulator that I know of, and you can found a link on this site. It is the first entry in the Utilities -=> Programs section, so I guess you can't miss it.

I myself use VDMSound to run Settlers 2 Gold on WinXP, and it works flawlessly. VDMSound is the second entry at the very same place.

Or go to the programs section of the main site here!

DosBox is a program that emulates Dos so that windows XP users can still run Dos programs.
