I grew up with it, although I mostly liked the faster and harder development of Acid Techno, Industrial Techno, earliy Trance and other stuff from Bonzai! Records, when it was most active in 91-95.
There's still quite an active scene today as well, notably UK Acid Techno parties, and Dark Industrial Techno too, although it's almost entirely underground now, non-commercial. There are still Rave parties happening, as well, most notable example would be Berghain in Berlin. Have a look below for some examples if you're interested.
