Set the settings in dosbox config for my monitor resolution
and i just get a bright white screen.. can only load it windowd  |

That's the downsides with TFT, as they can't go to such low resolutions as DosBox wants to use.

Set higher resolution in configuration file. (there are some options)

There are so many things people don't know about dosbox.
Could go on till you are all bored and asleep ;-) (Don't had that dosbox master title for nothing. Think I bored tom a few times too often  anyway. fullresolution might help enhance your experience even more. (try 640x480 for example (combined with fullfixed)) Fullfixed is implemented specificly for tft's I recall it correctly. @Titan Try advmame3x with fullfixed or so. Should be quite stunning.
