I've played this game before it was uploaded to Abandonia.com (I never posted anything before, and I'm an addict player and yes.. a fan of this site - yeah it's a compliment!)..
Anyway Cadaver is a querky (is that how it is spelled?) game, interesting if it wasn't for the.. err. querky - unfriendly-keyboard-to-play game.. The plot is interesting - typical adventure thing I guess, but I liked it..but again - damn jumpung into a barrel and trying to see if that leveler would do something..try it, I mean it, try it, it's an ok game if you get pass the .. querky game-play. This game is a classic but would be a recognition amongts others of it's era if it wouldn't be for it's querky keyboard keys.. Have fun anyway... and cheers to all from Abandon!! |

Keys Schmeys. The gameplay is so much fun I'll retrain my fingers any which way for another shot at completing this. I think the sequal was pretty good too.

This game is a classic - don't blame the game for not having a gamepad. That's just as silly for trashing Grand Prix 3 because it's hell to play using a keyboard. For some games you really need a gamepad or joystick, that's reality.

It's unfair to trash Cadaver like that. This game is a true classic, that every Knight Lore fan will surely appreciate. I loved it when it came out, played it for months, and game controls never caused me any pain.
I suppose, that the reviewer never played it for more than 15 minutes. |

I care to think I gave some pretty good downsides: the poor playability without a gamepad, the lack of music and the meager sound-effects. And for the record, I've played it for more than an hour, ending up with a massive case of RSI. You can all submit your own rating using the vote buttons. I did so to, only added a bit of comment. Just because the game is 'a classic' doesn't mean it needs a high mark. Heck, all of our games are classic. |
