![]() :help: I have a big problem, I just bought a new computer, on my old computer DC++ was working perfectly but on the new computer any kind of program of file sharing (Odc, Bittorrent) is not working... why ?
When i try to connect to any hub it says connection timeout, what should i do... please help me ! |

![]() You sure the WindowsXP firewall is disabled, too? Maybe it was, what Titan was talking about, he wasn't very clear
If that doesn't work: Are you connected to a router? It's possible that the router gave your new PC another IP than the old one. So some ports, that needed to be open, are just open for your old PC. At least that's what I think. |

![]() How can my IP could be changed... I'm through LAN and normally if on the old computer works then on my new computer should work. The internet is working very well only connectin on the DC++ doesn't work...

![]() It has something to do with ports. Internet is on port 80 (http). DC++ is on another port. Something is probably blocking this port. It could be the firewall, could be the router, could even be your provider.

![]() As others have said, most likely its a router problem. Got to http://www.portforward.com/ and find your router and follow the instructions for using DC++.
