Yes but the NT platform uses Autoexec.nt and Config.nt to start an MS-DOS environment and they should be in the Windows/System32 folder. The error message that Rorture is getting is related to an absence of the autoexec file or an error in that file.

I got that message for a while whenever I tried to run any DOS-based program in XP. Once I put that file in the right place it worked perfectly.

Rorture: If you try and run another DOS program in XP do you get the same message?
