Well, DOOM 2 I haven't actually ever played, although I've heard it was basically an expansion pack to the previous, rather than a new game.

DOOM 3 I haven't ever played either, and I've heard stories about it not being as good, trying to scare you too much, etc. Also I'm not entirely sure, but it might be a tad to realistically graphic for me... but I can't say until I try it.

As a note, however, I AM NOT into the Horror Genre of gaming. In the slightest. It's never really been my thing, and I don't intend to make it my thing.

I not the biggest DOOM fan-- just more of a FPS fan in general.
In fact, I've only played 1 or 2 levels of the shareware version of DOOM one-- so needless to say, I guess I'm not a definitive source for DOOM info.

I do not believe my eyes. Absolutely the same cat!!
How is possible?
USA is at the end of the world (ha ha ha) and this cat - her race name is European cat- reaches this remote region???
So first of all, thanks for looking at my Flickr page! I update it constantly, so If you like what you see, feel free to stop by again or even comment on something. You can E-mail me (And anyone else who wants to, can too) @ StaaViinsZ@yahoo.com if you have any suggestions for photos to make/upload.

So are you on Flickr, too? If you sign up, you could upload the Picture you were talking about and you would have 1 TB (Terabyte, READ: 1,000 Gigabytes) of space for any other photos you want to share with the world, if you are the type who likes to take photos a lot with a digital camera. (Like me)

Otherwise, I'm interested to see how similar Mimi does look to Mr. Calico, regardless of wherever you like to post your photos online.

Okay, so Might & Magic. This may come as a shocker to you, but I'm not completely sure I've even heard of that series... I think I have, once or twice, but I never went very deep with it.
As for my opinion of them, well... I can't actually tell you since I haven't actually played them.

As for first games always or more often being the best in the series, that's a big "HMM..."

I haven't played through a lot of game series through them as a whole, although there are plenty I wouldn't mind doing that with.

I have played through a few.

I played through
Rogue Squadron 3D
Rogue Squadron: Rebel Leader
(Haven't played Rebel Strike)

I played Dark forces (Haven't finished, just played first level)
I played some of the demo for Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith
I played completely through JKII, Jedi Outcast, Although I'm not completely sure if I used Cheat codes or not. I think I did not-- at least not to complete the game! I used them on other occasions, I assure you.
I haven't played JKA Jedi Academy
I played very little Tomb Raider one-- part of the shareware
I played a level of Tomb Raider: Last Revelation

I played SoulCaliber II but I haven't played any of the other ones, just heard about them

So from on basis from these series I would say this:

So Dark Forces was the most popular of that series, and Tomb Raider I was probably the most popular in that series. SoulCaliber I was the most popular in that series.

Well, I personally believe that games get better as they go on. Most anyway. SoulCaliber probably keeps getting better as it goes on. Unless the makers reach a creative stunt, then a game will inevitably get better as time goes on and allows for better graphics etc.

However, the reason the first would be most popular, and could be considered the best by some players, would be the revolution of it all, so to speak.

For example, when SoulCaliber first came out, it was 3D, it was weapon-based, and it was better in some ways than the arcade version. (From what I've heard)
People loved it. It was about as good as Weapon-based 3D Fighting games could get, at the time.

It's only natural, by the time the next one came out, everything was different. SoulCaliber II was a GREAT game, (I own the Xbox version) of course. But the look on it was different. The fact that the game before it was very similar takes away from a game's shine. The fact that some people could feel like "Been there, done that" took away from the shine. Several facts took away from the shine of the game... The real amazing thing, however, was that it managed to overcome it all with new developments such as:
Better Graphics
Better English Dubs
Better Story (I think)
Better in several other ways

So to sum up, so I don't go into a long wall, The first game gets the WOW factor of "This is great, I love this. I've never seen anything quite like this before." The second game tries to, if you'll excuse my rough terminology, "Emulate" that past WOW factor. If they try too hard, they'll fail miserably. They attempt to overcome that, however, by taking what made the first one good, and expanding upon that with new additions. However, there really is no way to ever achieve that point of "This is great" or the original WOW factor without actually having another one of those experiences from another game or genre of game. So inevitably, you'll think less of the sequels, to a certain extent.

I like to think I'm not like that-- but I guess everyone has a bit of that in them.

Oh, and another genre i am into is Fighting, along with Scrolling top-down shooters (Tyrian, Overkill, Galaga, Chicken Invaders I, II, III, possibly even IV!)

Lastly, I really do like your cat's name... Mimi... It sounds stupid for a guy to say it, but I really think it's very cute.

Can you BRAVE up to replying to this, BRAVE? (okay, that doesn't make sense, I just wanted to use your 2nd nick Brave somehow...)

Poke Dat! (nose)

STUVANI (Occasionally I add an I to the end of STUVAN. It's kind of like the extended version)
