![]() Newbies.
Despite the fact that oldies are good, a good newbie is about 1000 times better than a oldie. Also I'm not a old man who looks back nostalgicly and calls this generation insane. There's probably 12 year old gamers who're going to look back in their 30s and say, Why can't they make games like they did back in the early 2000's? It'll always be like that. Unless it's Tetris, none can beat Tetris. EDIT: I also believe that there's no lack of originality in this industry, just because we're getting more games, doesn't mean we can single out all the games that have had their share of unique quality. Take Black & White, Sacrifice, Half-Life, F.E.A.R. , Baldur's Gate, and etc. There are genuinly a staggering amount of revolutionary breakthrough games in this age. More so than there were in the 80's or 90's. I still think Tetris is the best tho'. I'd rather play Tetris over oldie and newbie.
