The article also said that digg traffic tends to be from 5000-10000 per day, which is quite a bit less than getting slashdotted.
Also, I was just told that our so far visits today totalled somewhere around 33k - well below the 100k we have been able to handle in the past. Today's slowdown was pretty much the worst I've experienced since being a member. It just doesn't seem to me that the numbers add up. Oh, and it seems that the digg.com article linked in the first post of this thread has been "buried" - probably because it was a duplicate article. |
