The very new update for dos-box fixes the FPS view movement crash. The game is now very playable.

Confirmed. It works fine with the newest dosbox version as of this moment (0.63).

Why? Why? Don't they realize that nobody is going to pay for this stuff? It looks like it might be fun, but who would buy it? Let us have it you greedy tycoons you![/b]
By nobody you mean you. And greedy? That would also be you. This game can be had for $5 off ebay. Don't be a cheap behind.

And a message to other "tycoons" (i.e. developers), if you make some of your older titles as Abandonware and let people play them for free, then those people might be so overwhelmed by your talent that they will be actively looking for your new releases and will buy them when they become available.

That's exactly what Illusion softworks did with with the Hidden and Dangerous series. A few months before the sequal was released the first game and all of its expansion packs were turned into freeware by the company and released to the public.

Hidden and Dangerous, and it's sequals, are the only games besides Operation Flashpoint that I've found to come close to re-creating the feeling and gameplay of Seal Team.

Seal Team - Back before EA sold its soul.

I bought the cd off ebay and am running it in the newest dosbox but it runs incredibly slow, even when I crank up the cpu cycles massively. Any suggestions on a way to run this at a reasonable speed? Im on xp.

Thanks for the response fifth. Well for some reason the frame skip just slows it down. How do you run it in dynamic core mode?

Open dosbox.conf, find a line that reads core=normal and change it to core=dynamic.

Hi I just purchased the game but I need help running it.

I have DOS-BOT but I do not know the exact commands to execute the game to work on it. If anyone could help me out it would be appreciated.
