Apologies if I shouldn't comment in this thread because of the age of its last post, but this seemed like as good a place as any.

If there's still any interest in running a moderated/closed tracker specifically for Abandonia (and large files like game ISOs), I'd love to chip in with both the knowhow and server resources. Who should I talk to about this? Or am I barking up a tree that nobody wants barked up?

well, for members, there is a place called iso cellar, which has links to huge files like isos on http free servers=)

Yeah a private tracker for abandonia games could be useful..
But it shouldn't end up the same way as HotU is dealing it's torrents..

(Torrents are around but No one is seeding,... On any torrent :mad

Abandonia needs to check regularly and Automatically whether a certain torrent is still having any seeds left and handle dead torrents according pre-set rules..
