You are right. I definitely met problems in the battles with 4 AP only.

Situation:
2 bad plants are killed and well repaired. Still investigate and learning..
Ax, forget to inform You, that I am dressed in a nice blue dresses now. Ha ha

Q1: Where, the hell, is my equipment, that Cameron told me it is in some room??

Hello, Yoga, the character stats you posted are a little confusing
I assume Paco has really 5 perception but it's temporarily lowered to 4 because he's feeling dizzy from the healing powder he used and that he has 8 action points per round but after attacking with a spear there are only 4 left. 36 hitpoints means he's already level 2.
We're curious which traits he chose and which skills he tagged. A screenshot to praise the hero would be great.


You can see his experience points and how many he needs for the next level at the left side of the character screen below the attributes.

For restoring hit points there are many ways:
- 24 hours travelling or 6 hours resting regenerate 1 hitpoint.
- Use the "first aid" and the "doctor" skill. Your skill is the success chance percentage. Even if only 1 of 10 attempts succeds you'll heal faster than by resting.
- Use healing powder, fruits or other equipment for instant healing.
- Find a healer.

Your equipment should be in a chest near the door you entered just before fighting Cameron. You can return to the temple.

Hakunii will heal you, but he won't travel with you. You can return to him after leaving, but there are faster ways for healing than travelling back for days.

Your equipment is back in the temple of trials(the cave with all the ants and scorpions) it's in the room previous to the one in which you fought with the guy near the door.

He will heal you always, but it won't be worth returning to him all the time, you can rest for hitpoints, heal yourself with doctor/first aid skill or using healing powder/stimpak/super stimpak

It may be easier for you to read manual HERE for atleast creating a character, what each attribute does etc.

- from doctors
- use of healing equipments (direct healing or by using skills)
- resting

There are "chests". There are pots and even a skeleton (on what you can find another spear) in the Temple of Trial, and there will be many other containers in the game.

I am novice but have feeling that something is wrong in my status.
I think it is not normal to fight half hour with some ant!!!
I am going to solve the world but I am helpless against stupid bug.

It's normal that Paco face difficulties in combat. When combat skills are low the chance to hit is low too, it's normal to miss most of the time when fighting ants in the Temple of Trials. He is still a low level character with lousy equipment, he has to gain levels and raise skills to get stronger.

You didn't create a weak character. You left all stats average and used the 5 bonus points to raise the important ones. You have enough action points to attack enemies standing close to you twice per round with a spear or other fast weapons.

How can you expect an inexperienced tribesman to defeat a gang of armed gangsters all by himself ? Even a character with 10 in all attributes wouldn't stand a chance that early in the game.

Sometimes it's necessary to accept that you aren't the most powerful person in the world, able to kill everything standing in your way with a single blow.

In Fallout2 you can gain lots of XP and solve many quests without violence, you can run away when you're ambushed and when you absolutely want to kill someone you can return when you're more experienced and better equipped.

Actually melee weapons require at least 3 AP per hit, so that's one hit per round, and no AP to afford running away. And with 4 PE he'll have hard time shooting either. But that's his decision. And maybe his stats are better, just sucked some healing powder what lowered them.
Anyway, hitchance in fights will be drasticly improved when the skills will be rised (there are zillion ways to upgrade them).

The best way to kill somebody (who is not hostile immediatelly) is to steal an amred explosive into their pocket

But only if your Trap skill is high enough (70%+) so you have enough time, otherwise it might blow up on you instead while you're trying to plant it.

Save before trying (but never save with bomb activated!), and 30-40% will be enough.
And in New Reno you'll bump up your trap skill high enough anyway for quest.

if you stuck to the 4 action points that you mentioned that that is the problem. there aren't much things with which you can go wrong in fallout but pick a low amount of action points. what is your AP right now?

but yeah, killing things on the beginning of the game is really slow
