But I am yoga, y'now me how in WOX I stupidly carried the weapons only, but not wear them ha ha..

You can make screenshots by pressing F12 during the game. They'll be in your Fallout 2 folder in uncompressed .bmp format. You can open them with paint and save in .png format to save space.

If Paco really had only 4 AP this was an unknown game bug since with 7 AG you can't get them that low without drugs. It's possible that you read the number after spending 4 action points. Has he been able to move more than 4 squares or attack twice per round ?

Just an advice, don't take "Skilled" trait, it really blows, perks are way better than skills, which u can catch up with books or high INT score(2xINT= skill points/level), better take "Gifted", second, it'd be best to "TAG"(grey color of skill/improved twice as fast as others) atleast one weapon skill( small guns, big, energy, unarmed, melee. From the beginning, and seeing your stats I'd recommend small guns.)

You don't really need to have high Stealing/Locpicking from the very beginning, in fact, having the basic Steal(20% + (1% x Agility)) is sufficient atleast till 3rd city(Redding), same goes for lockpiciking, later on you will find items, which it self increases your picking skill.

To do barter, there are certain characters which have a trade option in dialogue, but you can barter with others clicking the "barter" button to the right while talking to someone, I Klamath I guess it's the first building to the north when you enter the city, the woman near the long table. Just click the barter button, or try to tell her, "I'd like to trade" or so. Then a new interface will appear, with your inventory to the left and NPC's to the right, the barter goes like "drag and drop" itmes to the brown spot next to the inventory, the amount of $$ will appear at the bottom, you have to pay or barter the items in at least same or higher cost than NPC's.

Miss buckner is in the same room as the barter woman, her look is same as the bartenders.( In fact the bartender is Mrs. Buckner's daughter =))

So you took the pregenerated character. His stats aren't really better than Paco's so don't expect to have an easier game with him, but at least your unfounded feeling of having messed up your character is gone since you know that the game has to be solvable with a pregenerated character.

This new char. is better, but would have been better with 1 more strenght (take one from the ten Agility), and other tags (a fighting skill would be an improvement instead of stealing for example, and lockpick is better solved by using lockpick kits), but it'll be ok this time maybe.

To barter:
Talk with the character you want to barter with. If there is a conversation-option what brings up the barter-screen, choose that (gives better prices). If not, on the conversation-screen you can see a red button titled "barter" - click on it.
On the barter-screen put items from your inventory on the barter-coloumn. Put from the other guy from his/her inventory items into his/her barter-coloumn. On the bottom of the barter-coloumns the prices will be shown. If the two matches hit "ok".

Ardin Buckner will be in the first town visited (yes, Klamath), where Sulik will be too (half naked guy). They are both in the tavern, what is in the arriving-screen of the town.
A thing though: if you hated fighting the ants, you'll hate more fighting the geckos Use hit&run tactic and separation, or you'll loose. Bring Gum-boots too, or you'll suffer radiation, what'll make hard to get into Vault City.

Also: Redding is NOT the third city to visit! If you go to Redding early (I think before level 8-10), you won't be able to do anything (except robbing houses)! And most quests are timed quests there, so better bring some heavy equipment (well, at least better then basic punch and 9mm pistol).

A thing about stealing: certain NPCs if you steal from them (even with success), later become hostiles, what will be trouble. This is rare, but you should look up them in a walkthrough, and only steal things with real value (like drugs, good weapons and ammo, books)...

A tip for Klamath: do the "guarding the brahmins" quest first, where you'll be able to find very good knuckles (spiked knuckles) to improve your unarmed damage. Also check Vic's quaters for a gun. It is sucky, but has its use.

Well, prolly yes, Modoc might be better, but it worked for me with Redding being a third town to visit.

There's a hunting rifle in the sheriff's locker.

I even cleared great wanamingo mine without big sweating with combat knife + there's a sweet metal armor mk II.

But no more arguing over this, he's a newbie to this game, so he actually might find it for his own and return to impossible places later.

I told you, you can loot the houses, but the quests needs to wait. And as want-a-gringos are strong, and part of a quest, this'd be like roaming random encounters.

Besides if you go for just artillery, why not enter Navaro for the heck of it?!
